This training is an invitation to return to yourself
To pause.
To listen.
To remember the wisdom that moves quietly beneath the noise.
This training invites you to slow down — not only in body, but in being — to explore what happens when we truly rest and allow the body’s intelligence to lead.
Whether you come as a teacher or a practitioner, you’ll learn to hold space with presence, confidence, and compassion.
About the Training
The 50-Hour Advanced Restorative & Somatic Facilitation Training is a 3-day immersive weekend in Brisbane, supported by online materials and guided reflections.
It weaves together the principles of Restorative Yoga, Somatic Awareness, and Yoga Nidra, offering a deeply experiential approach to rest, embodiment, and teaching.
Rooted in over a decade of full-time teaching and inspired by the wisdom of Judith Hanson Lasater, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, Tracee Stanley, and Octavia Raheem, this training honours the nervous system as our greatest teacher — and rest as a radical act of remembering.

Who This Training Is For
Yoga teachers seeking to expand into restorative and somatic facilitation
Practitioners wanting to deepen their personal rest practice
Wellness professionals drawn to trauma-aware, body-led work
Anyone ready to integrate nervous system literacy into daily life and teaching
You do not need to teach yoga to attend — only the curiosity to listen and the willingness to rest.
The Weekend Journey
Day 1
Foundations of Rest & Somatic Awareness
Learn the nervous system language of rest and how the body finds safety. Experience guided somatic practices, foundational restorative setups, and evening Yoga Nidra.
Day 2
Presence, Language & Facilitation
Explore how your tone, pacing, and energy shape a space of rest. Practice trauma-aware cueing, sequencing for emotional balance, and voice work for embodied facilitation.
Day 3
Integration & Embodied Teaching
Integrate everything you’ve learned through a full restorative sequence, small-group facilitation, reflection, and closing circle.
Between sessions, you’ll have access to online recordings, reflection prompts, and optional facilitation practice for certification.
What You’ll Learn
The physiology of rest through a polyvagal lens — safety, connection, and regulation
Foundations of somatic awareness and interoceptive listening
How to facilitate rest with presence and pacing rather than performance
Language and cueing for trauma-aware and inclusive guidance
Principles of sequencing stillness — creating short and extended restorative sessions
Yoga Nidra foundations — structure, Sankalpa, and voice as medicine
Embodied self-care and sustainable teaching practices
You will leave with both the inner and outer tools to guide restorative and somatic experiences that restore balance, safety, and calm —
in yourself and others.
Certification & Accreditation
Upon completion, you’ll receive a 50-Hour Advanced Restorative & Somatic Facilitation Certificate, recognized by Yoga Alliance and Yoga Australia for CPD hours.
Teachers can log these hours toward Continuing Education requirements.
Practitioners attending for personal immersion will receive a certificate of completion.
