About R.E.S.T.

This is a mindful 4-Week training course to invite relaxation in your body and life.

The R.E.S.T Course is a guided experience, delivered by Yoga Teacher & Meditation Coach, Rocio Marte.

It is designed for the person that feels worn out, that wishes to find more ease in daily life, that struggles to find a restful state, or that simply wishes to learn new perspectives & resources to connect deeply with both stillness and themselves.

R.E.S.T. is a mind training tool. However, you will find subtle movement practices within, that may help you to connect with a restful state.

This course will guide you towards the truth that way to enjoy our free time and nourish our bodies and minds is how we live a purposeful life. It will also allow you to explore what is in your way of the rest you crave, and will give you answers on how to tend to your inner resources of care and kindness.

Inside this course lies four modules with mindful lessons and a practice video to enjoy, in your pajamas on the weekend or after a long day. 

  • This module opens up prompts and practices of focusing on yourself in deliberate ways, relating to your interior world, touching in with your capacity to observe yourself, be your own resource of rest. You will explore what is in your way to a more calming routine in your day. Observe how to craft space and time in the life that you are living right now. And treat with care the sweet moments that you can create to be with yourself. Your rest practice will be of a gentle child pose, lying on your belly vowing your head forward.

  • Here we learn to meet moments of constriction with patience and ease. You will take time to observe your automatic tendencies in which you place your time and energy, so that with new awareness you can choose best how to nourish yourself. You will be invited to build a trusting relationship with yourself, keeping your word close to your heart, taking care of you, as only you know best. Here you will enjoy a practice of legs up the wall to invite a restful blood flow to your entire system, caring for your back and your heart.

  • Learn to see the possibility of this present moment as the place to be. You will learn to see what is in front of you, as it is. This ability will guide you to see your human reaction to emotions and allow the experience in a calmed state. You will develop tools to feel at home within yourself and invite more and more spacious time for you reckoning. Practicing a gentle and supported side twist to rejuvenate the spine and feel those moments of release with some degree of sweet stillness

  • Connect to your own natural knowing of what is your true essence. See with clear eyes your intention and your capacity to receive and invite love and kindness to yourself. You will practice techniques to remind you of the caring being you are. You will have this remembrance to carry with you. To receive the practice, in a lying down corpse pose, you will be guided by a yoga nidra, guided meditation into a restful relaxation of the entire body.

12 short self-paced lessons on mind training with prompts to write, and 4 practice lessons to enjoy in your most comfortable clothes. All lessons totalling roughly three hours. You may access this content and listen inside our course portal.

Live Gatherings

  • As soon as you purchase the course, you will be directed to your course library where you will be able to access the course.

  • Twice a year, Rocio invites all students of R.E.S.T to a Live Gathering to answer questions on what is alive for you. You'll be notified several weeks before each gathering.

  • You'll enjoy ongoing access to the content.

  • This is a self-paced course; take your time as you travel through each module. About 1-3 weeks per module will allow you to listen to each lesson, enjoy restful practices several times and begin to incorporate the learnings.

  • Previous knowledge is not required for this course, it is not an active yoga based course. Only your intention to invite relaxation in your daily life
